WALKING: Many places to walk. Just enjoy a walk around the village or venture a little further and walk up onto Woodbury Common with its many tracks and walking trails. Wonderful cliff top walks at Budleigh Salterton or walk along the Canal from Topsham to Exeter, and stop for a pub lunch on route.

GOLF: Woodbury Park is just 5 minutes drive from Number 10 . Daily open membership is available to play the 18 Hole championship course or the 9 hole Acorn course. Also very popular is East Devon golf club at Budleigh Salterton with magnificiant costal views.

If you really want that special course only 1 hours drive away will take you to St Mellion International.

CYCLING: At Number 10 we have 2 adult Mountain bikes which you are welcome to use but should you require additional bikes there are cycle hire shops in Topsham, Exmouth and on the quay in Exeter which is a great starting point to cycle the Exeter Canal cycleway or join the new cycle trail at Lympstone cyling along the Exe to Exmouth then onto Budleigh Salterton along the old railway line. For the real mountain bike enthusiast Exeter Haldon Hill is a must with its challenging routes and bike hire.

HORSE RIDING: Woodbury Common offers an excellent trekking area with nearby riding stables at Budleigh Salterton .

WATERSPORTS: Exmouth has a fantastic area at the mouth of the Exe estury which offers great opportunities for kitesurfing and windsurfing, with a watersports centre where equipment can be hired and tuition available. Canoes are available to hire on the quay in Exeter.

TREASURE TRAILS At Number 10 we have a selection of local nearby trails to enjoy by car/ walking. They are a great way to get to know the local places and area. Great fun for all ages. We have enjoyed so many trails ourselves, and recommend to all our visitors.
